I agree. Our phones are often in the other room. I never feel obligated to answer texts or phone calls unless I'm expecting something important. Focus, focus, focus!
I just shared this with my Grade 12 Chemistry classes today. They are preparing for a thermochemistry test and were really interested in this data. They are going to try putting their phones in a different room while they study this weekend - I’m excited to hear their feedback on Monday!
Absolutely spot on. During the article, out of habit, I tapped the pocket I keep my phone in. It wasn't there. A pang of panic set in. I then saw it out of the corner of my eye on my desk, beckoning to me. I kept reading the article but wanted to pick it up. It's become a crutch. An addiction. I will see if I can break away from it! Thanks!

I’ve noticed such a positive difference when I started doing it too.
Bravo for us! Taking the right steps.
💯
Ohh this reminds me a piece I wrote a few weeks ago! love the way you presented these findings 😄subscribed!
Interesting, I'll check it out!
Couldn’t agree more. I often toss my phone in my backpack while I work.
Amazing, I’ve noticed a lot of benefits from doing this.

Thanks for this. I didn’t know.
Digital detoxing has become increasingly important as our lives grow more intertwined with screens, notifications, and constant connectivity.
Completely agree. And without people's awareness of the impact too. I was fascinated when I actually went through the data.

The first graphs are misleading. I don't know about the measure but they make it seems double, when instead is three and half points more
